Canine Wellness Exams
Annual wellness exams are essential in preventing disease and illness for your pets to maintain optimal health. During this exam our doctors will discuss vaccinations, dental care, skin issues, diet & nutrition, and preventative care, along with any additional questions or concerns you may have about their overall health and well-being.
Our exams include a full review of your dog’s health history, including vaccines and behavioral concerns. During this exam, the doctor and veterinary technician will assess the annual health condition, check vitals, and do a thorough dental evaluation. Preventative care diagnostics, such as blood work, may be offered for early diagnosis of unforeseen problems. These diagnostics will give our veterinarians a baseline to tell us what is normal for your pet, and a chance to treat disease early.
Canine wellness exams are completed to American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) standards. Our yearly Canine Wellness Package offers gold-standard preventative care for dogs at every stage of life, with a built-in 35% savings to make staying on top of your pet’s health easier than ever!
Canine Wellness Vaccinations
Updated vaccinations are important to keep your pet healthy, and protected against common viruses and bacteria. Groomers, training centers, and daycares require up-to-date vaccinations for your pet to be accepted for their services.
Many factors are taken into consideration regarding your canine’s vaccinations such as age, breed, and lifestyle. We recommend the following vaccinations as a consistent baseline for each dog:
- Rabies
- Distemper
- Parvovirus
- Bordatella
- Leptospirosis
- Lyme
Healthy pets require yearly physicals, intestinal deworming and vaccines to prevent illness. Only your veterinarian can determine the best course of treatment for your pet.
